  • Responsible for all administration and support relating to web and IT products and services. This included:
    • managing the budget
    • staff and subcontractors
    • inventory management
    • procurement, and
    • vendor management
  • Developed and instituted: Emergency Preparedness/business continuity protocols; Workplace Enhancement initiatives; Appreciative Inquiry initiatives.
  • Developed and instituted IT and web policies and procedures re security, usage, copyright, procurement.
  • Performed all aspects of scheduling and minute-taking for Staff and Committee meetings.
  • Handled support calls from onsite/off-site staff (24) and Workgroup members.
  • Responded to client service queries from the Board, external agencies, and Ministry staff who required technical assistance.
  • Set up online event management presence for forums, workshops, conferences.
  • Initiated use of online collaborative tools among volunteer-based workgroups and NPOs (was pilot site for www.publichealthontario.ca portal).
  • Represented organization on several province-level committees.
  • Set up web-based surveys for evaluations, and to gather feedback on client products and services.
  • Reviews of key productivity elements: increased task efficiencies by 25%; migrated and centralized back-end web functions realizing savings of over $7,000.

  • Advanced use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and a range of web software.
